About this course
In this course, students have the opportunity to develop educational skills and explore the field of education by means of a small internship/practical. These practical experiences can be obtained in a primary or secondary school, in an institute for vocational education, or higher education. Educational skills refer to either teaching/training skills, or skills in developing educational materials. Parallel sessions at university - in which students meet the teacher and their peers - support students' preparations and reflections. Moreover, these sessions are used to expand students' knowledge and professional skills to work in the field of education.
This course is offered in a mixed group with course ELS34506 Becoming a Teacher Basics (which is one of the courses of the minor Education)
NB. If students want to join this course, please register yourself before November 15th to make sure we can find an institute where you can do your internship. In case a student registers later than November 15th, he/she/them needs to arrange a location to fulfil the internship him/her/themselves.
